( Alright, Chapter One is done. )

I managed to do nine of these “Step Two” revisions, and I have twenty seven to go. That means I can get the rest done in about three days (that is, three days worth of effort). Then I’ll be done, and then I can start working on new pages!

Of course, this is not without my little school-related caveats: I have several majorly important programming assignments due, the earliest of which is due in a week’s time. I’m gonna try my best to get the rest of these revisions done, but of course school comes first (which really sucks).

Fortunately though, summer is around the corner, and I plan on using my time wisely and getting a lot of comics done in that time, mostly to even make up for not making any new comics for nearly two months now. :( And for those keeping score, I’m planning on graduating soon… next semester (Fall 2007) is hopefully my last semester. It’ll at least be my last full-time semester, with me taking probably just one class during the Spring 2008 semester. [crosses fingers]

UPDATE: I finished nine more revisions today. I have eighteen left now! Soon it’ll be alllll over…. :)

Revisions Slowly Making Their Way Online…

( Starting with page 6… )

The hardest part is over, now somes the page-by-page finalization process. You might also notice some dialogue revisions…. some of what people have to say kinda annoyed me, so they’re being rewritten. I’m gonna try to do as many as I can over the past week, but I’ve also got a midterm this week that I really have to worry about.

I also need to prepare for THE ALTERNATIVE PRESS EXPO, which is this weekend! (check out last year’s pictures…) This means I’m gonna be spending a lot of time getting new shit done for the booth, which was basically all the junk I figured I needed to do since WonderCon.

Is anyone even listening to me?

Current Progress Of Archive Revisions….

Tuesday, April 10th, 2007

As you might already know, I’ve been working hard to revise the Moose River archives. This came mostly because enough people have criticized my chicken-scratch writing, plus I want the pages to look nice when I finally get them bound into a book. Now revisions is a two-step process. Step One is to go through every page, erase the original text and clean up all the lines. Step Two is to type in the text, add greytone, then finalize the page for the web. Step One is considerably harder than Step Two.

I’m still 32/54th of the way through Step One. However, I managed to complete 13 Step One revisions today. With 22 left to go, I’ll bet I can get them all done by Wednesday! Step Two will commence soon after (hopefully Thursday). If all goes well, I might have them all done by the end of the week! Pretty nifty, huh?

The sooner I get them done, the sooner I can get back to doing new pages, as well as start working on getting these all bounded into a single book. Thank God this week is Spring Break!
