ムース川の日本 – TO BE CONTINUE!!!!!!!

Wednesday, March 2nd, 2005

Well, that’s it! The last Muusugawa no Nihon comic. Did you enjoy it? Did you hate it? Oh well, it’s done now. NOW you’re gonna have to wait a while before new Moose River Regular comics reappear. Sadly, schoolwork and real work takes precident over comic work.

I honestly can’t wait to go back to drawing Anne, Avery and Shea again, and all crudely-like to boot. Doing the whole sketchy, blue pencil, typed text thing was really time consuming and it was driving me nuts.

Plippy (Jul 31, 2006, 2:56):
Or I should say, the satire weapon that I was aiming at gaming/manga webcomics with had the subtlety and accuracy of a shotgun. I hope my next satire project is a bit more like a silencer.

Plippy (Jul 31, 2006, 2:48):
In retrospect, this comic was a little misguided, but certainly not the last of its kind. I’ll work on a better idea, maybe a sequel, in due time.

Jacob: Don’t worry, it’s over now. :) (I got sick of it too! :O)

Another David C. (Mar 3, 2006, 17:10):
Hey, I’m another David C! But with a differently spelled last name. Good nonetheless. Just like Moose River and its Ameri-Manga Parody Counterpart.

Jacob L. (Mar 3, 2006, 15:47):
Been following moose river forever and this manga thing is starting to get boring. but hell its your comic, and ill still keep reading.

Plippy (Mar 3, 2006, 0:58):
David: Are you the same David I’m thinking of? :) … I didn’t do everything I could in Muusugawa no Nihon (ie laser blasts). There is only so much I can do in 13 pages. Don’t worry, there’ll be a new project along the same lines in the future…. :)

David C. (Mar 3, 2006, 0:12):
Umm…wow. I dunno…it didn’t really capture the manga feeling…like flying through the air with those speed lines, no laser blasts…but I guess it was manga-esque, which is what you were aiming for. So…good job? Anyways…cameo Nick15 in MooseRiver!

ทดลองเล่นฟรี 500 ムース川の日本 – Slot Loading

Tuesday, March 1st, 2005

OK, the next comic, comic number 13, will be the last Muusugawa no Nihon comic. I swear! It’s gonna end on a cliffhanger. Page 14 in the minicomic (the true last page) will only be a placeholder claming that Muusugawa no Nihon will return in “Muusugawa no Nihon 2: Boogaru no Denkaseihin” (or “Moose River Japan 2: Electric Boogaloo”).

After the next/last Muusugawa no Nihon comic, I’m gonna take a short break from my comic duties to focus on school work and so forth. Not to mention I’ve got to go back through the archives and add in some new frames, text, and other tweaks. It’ll be a just a wee little while before new Moose River Regular comics appear. Sorry.

In other news… Now I’m not much of a Death Cab For Cutie person, but a neat scheme with (I presume) their latest album involves music videos for each of their songs. They’re being shown on their website, with each video alternativing every few weeks. I’m only mentioning this because this week the video is done by Jeffrey Brown, a comic artist whose work I fancy.

Your Heart is an Empty Room

Plippy (Mar 1, 2006, 18:36):
I originally was gonna name the game Chijin bought “Dick Samson: Private Detective”, only to have J4M-3 say “you can put your dick in my slot!” …. BTW, UHHhuhuuhuhhuh… she touched her boob.

Jimmy (Mar 1, 2006, 18:13):

THAT gives new meaning to “slot loading”. XD

ムース川の日本 – DIY Robotics

Sunday, February 27th, 2005

If you can’t read it, the robot is a “Nuclear Powered, Isotopic J4M-3 Combat Robot With A Duotomically Charged Magnetic Restrained Aiming Circuit and an EMP-Locked Hyper-Cooled Fusion Generation Core Unit”.

Some interesting comics I found:

How Not To Run A Comic – Guides to how not to run a comic. I plan on contributing to this one, maybe using sacraficing my Muusu-gawa no Nihon characters. – An interestingly humourous comic about what happened after End of Evangelion.

Plippy (Feb 28, 2006, 19:15):
Don’t worry, you’ll only have to put up with MRJ for another… three comics. :)

fanglefish (Feb 28, 2006, 16:19):
I like this comic but I miss MRR :(

Plippy (Feb 27, 2006, 4:04):
Oops, Baita’s text is a bit too small. I’ll fix that later. In the mean time, just use the “enlarge this comic” function if you can’t read what she says. :)

ムース川の日本 – Next Gen Graphix

Wednesday, February 23rd, 2005

All too easy.

Plippy (Feb 26, 2006, 18:40):
Ok guys, after droppin’ acid last night, I kinda got the answer I needed concerning why psudo-manga gaming webcomics are popular (aptly from a wiseman on the top of a mountain). Having said that, I’m gonna 1) finish Muusugawa no Nihon on page 14 as opposed to 18, and 2) rewrite the intro I gave to this story to be less complaining and more tomfoolery, claiming I’ve decided to change my style and format. :) … By the end of this week, though, things’ll be back to normal. Thank you for your patience while I finish ejaculating this side story. :)

Plippy (Feb 25, 2006, 3:10):
Since school + money work > comic work, I haven’t been able to get comics in these past few days. So… sit tight for now. Sorry.

vio (Feb 24, 2006, 17:46):
in its own sense muusu-gawa no nihon is hilairous :D
but mrr is awesome-er xD -squee-

I wish swords went through MY head. :( (Feb 23, 2006, 5:06):
Say something about this comic! (BTW, IP addresss will be recorded and spam will be deleted. I may also use these comments for something in the future.)

ムース川の日本 – ITT pantsu

Tuesday, February 22nd, 2005

Try and guess today’s cliché.
Oh and sorry about the lack of a comic yesterday. But I guarentee one tomorrow and… for the rest of the week too. :)

Vlad Damien (Feb 23, 2006, 7:52):
Which is rather funny, since she’s Chinese…

Plippy (Feb 22, 2006, 15:02):
TImbosister: Yatta = “I did it!”. If you’ve ever played Street Fighter 2, it’s what Chun Li says when she wins.

Vlad Damien (Feb 22, 2006, 8:37):
Hooray for unnecessary fan service…

Timbosister (Feb 22, 2006, 8:06):
I am learning so many new things from Moose River. Yatta? More like awesome.
or whatever.
